These are a few resources I think some of you may find helpful. A list of organisations and support groups I have personally had experience with. Please feel free to add to the list and I will update the page to accommodate.
Saint Marys Hospital NICU charity
Birth trauma association – support for women who had a traumatic birth experience.
Bliss – a website filled with information about premature babies or babies born sick.
Tommy’s – Lots of information about pregnancy complications, they also have a FREE app.
Ronald McDonald house – Without this amazing organisation, we wouldn’t have been able to stay so close to the hospital for such a long period of time. It is a fantastic charity helping Families of sick children.
The PANDAS Foundation – is here to help support and advise any parent who is experiencing a perinatal mental illness. We are also here to inform and guide family members, carers, friends and employers as to how they can support someone who is suffering
Perinatal Mental health partnership – The Perinatal Mental Health Partnership coordinated the UK Maternal Mental Health Matters Awareness Week 1st-7th May 2017. #maternalmhmatters
UK pvl group – Having a child suffer from pvl is truly terrifying this is a fantastic small community (you need to add as its private). Everybody is welcome & you get answers back almost immediately from other people in the same situation as yourself.
Food for tubies – Great website & Facebook page with a huge database of recipes including nutritional value to make blending food easier.
